How Me and Kelbug Met

Well some of you may be wondering how me and Kelbug met. Well now I'm gonna tell you. In second grade and even before that we always saw each other in the halls. There was the occasional wave and sometimes even a friendly 'Hello' but never a real conversation. Then when we moved up to third grade we were allowed to tryout for the basketball team. We both made the team. There was a little more talking and we started to get to know each other... a little bit. I thought that Kelbug was the shy, quiet girl who mostly kept to herself, but it turns out I was wrong. She's not always shy. Kelbug thought that I, Ally Star, was the totally crazy, funny girl who loved to talk. Most of that is true, but what she didn't know was that I could be shy, and timid too. I had a very timid side of me then. Sometimes I was as quiet as Kelbug herself. But all of that small talk and not knowing each other quite enough changed. In the fourth grade. Kelbug and I were in the same class. Mrs. Todd's class. We sat next to each other on the first day of school. We got to know each other ALOT better. We saw each others differents sides, we both came out of our shell a little, if you know what I mean. Anyway we both tried out for basketball again that year. We both made it. Since we were in the same class, and we were both on the basketball team, we saw alot more of each other and we became real good friends. We were together all the time. There was no tearing us apart, we were such great friends! Then came fifth grade. We got separated. She was in Mrs. Mullinax's class and I was in Mrs. Reid's. Of course we saw each other at basketball. But we didn't get to talk much then. And at recess we barely got to see each other. I mean we did on Mondays and Tuesdays, but on Wednesdays I had enrichment and I had to miss recess. On Thursdays, Kelbug's class had to go to art/guidance and on Fridays my class had to go to art/guidance. We didn't see enough of each other. So we tried to fix that. We came over to each others houses, and as soon as one of us got a birthday invitation, we had to find out if the other did too. We had sleepovers, I invited Kelbug to the Cleveland Country Club swimming pool, and she invited me to her granny's pool. We finally got to hang out more. So to this day we still find ways to see each other. We're always talking to each other even if it is just on our cellphones!!!!! We're GREAT friends!!!!!!!
